Good to Know

Questions before you begin

Do I need any previous dance experience?

Not at all. The Foundation programme begins with the very first steps: posture, chauka, tribhangi, basic footwork and hastas. Learners with earlier training can tell us about it in the form, and we will suggest the level that suits them.

From what age can my child start?

The Little Lotus programme welcomes children from 5 to 12 years. Purnima’s own Odissi journey began at the age of six, at RAWA Academy in Odisha.

Can I learn online from outside India?

Yes. Live online classes are open to learners who cannot attend in person, wherever they live. Choose “Online” as your preferred mode and add your city and country, so we can suggest suitable timings.

What are the fees and batch timings?

They depend on the programme, the learner’s level and the mode of learning. We share the current batch timings and fees with you directly when we reply to your enquiry.
